Abstract :
Motion data storage in 3D GIS has a lot of special requirements than other data storage, especially motion data coding. The management of motion data based on sampling requires the flexible balance of data quantity, quality and process complexity, i.e. the compression ratio, precision and processing time. Grid coding together with bit assembly works well to meet the requirements. An experiment designed for this method proved it.
