Study on supplier selection based on projection method

Supplier selection is the basis of supply-chain management. This paper, first, introduces objectively the present situation of researching supplier selection. Then, it establishes the index system for supplier evaluation. Furthermore, it uses the projection method to determine the distance between suppliers and positive ideal scheme. Finally, through calculating based on a case, it makes use of the numerical values of hybrid decision-making index to illustrate the validity of projection method.
