Abstract :
In this paper we apply a sub-optimum algorithm to a radar network with a double threshold for detection and we report the results for two types of decision rules. The algorithm presented nearly maintains detection performance in the presence of jamming and is achieved without any of the countermeasures more commonly adopted. Furthermore we show that the detection loss due to the sub-optimum algorithm is not large. This leads to a trade off between losses and increased tolerance to electronic countermeasures (ECM).
