An ECCM signaling approach for deep fading of jamming reflectors

This article develops a radar signaling scheme to combat a repeat jammer. The signaling design is based upon emission of radar pulses following a specific orthogonal structure, where both pulse diversity and coding techniques are combined. The construction, through simple one-step matched-filtering, ensures that signals emitted by a jammer are placed in a deep fade, allowing for easier identification of false reflectors.
