Abstract :
Design of a wireless sensor network based on Zigbee/IEEE802.15.4 is issued. The network is used to measure thermal characteristic of building envelop. Each sensor node in the system is composed of sensors and an integrated chip CC2430. The GPRS technology is used to complete data exchanging between remote inspecting center and wireless sensor network. This system is the first application in building energy efficiency field.
