Abstract :
In video transmission process, because of its bad channel environment and spatial-temporal-frequent varying, the packet loss characteristic of wireless network is different from wired network. Traditional packet loss patterns are all based on experimental measurement, which need much time and complicated testing circumstance. Based on researching Gilbert model, this paper proposes a new method to get the loss patterns with designated packet loss characteristics by reverse-modeling. The scheme can simulate true wireless transmission environment preferably, and also can be the simulation platform of validating different packet loss solutions.
