Abstract
In the paper a watermarking scheme for MP3 format audio is proposed. During the processes of MP3 encoding, it hides data by modifying the energy relation between two adjacent channels. The degree of modifying is controlled by the allowed distortions computed by the Psychoacoustic Model. Experimental results show that the method has a good performance for the Chinese folk music and Chinese classical music: good imperceptibility and robustness to the repeating decoding/re-encoding attack.
