Abstract :
DFT-S-GMC (DFT-spread generalized multi-carrier) has been confirmed as one of the uplink transmission schemes of the broadband wireless multimedia (BWM) of China. In this paper, the PAPR of DFT-S-GMC is studied, and the theoretical analysis proves that it´s not a pure single carrier system. A new pulse shaping filter is proposed for further reducing DFT-S-GMC PAPR. The simulation results show that the performance improvement attained by utilizing the new method.
