Abstract :
A similarity transformation matrix which transforms a state-space model from a general form to a modified Cauer´s canonical form is established. This matrix is then used derive an aggregation matrix which relates the original state vector and the state vector of reduced model obtained by the method of modified Cauer´s continued fraction expansion.
