Abstract
This paper explores the use of semi-infinite programming (SIP) algorithms for solving complex SISO control system design problems when the plant model contains both parametric and unstructured uncertainty. It is shown that to make such a design computationally tractable, it is necessary to replace the original performance-specifying semi-infinite inequalities by majorizations.
