            Abstract : 
First a brief overview of current model reduction methods is presented. Next the CCA approach is used to obtain a reduced-order LQR design as well as a reduced-order Kalman filter. Exploiting duality, a parallel presentation for both the problems is given. Finally reduced-order LQG controllers are discussed using the CCA approach.
