            Abstract : 
A methodology for treating fuzzy quantifiers in natural languages has been proposed by L.A. Zadeh. This paper is centered on the intersection/product syllogism, where combination of quantifiers is related to multiplication of fuzzy numbers. After recalling basic concepts, it is shown that the use of a non-standard fuzzy arithmetic can reduce the fuzziness with respect to a direct computation of fuzzy quantifiers.
