Abstract :
This paper deals with the problems of Robust Pole Assignment and Robust Stabilization for systems described by matrix fraction representations which involve a structured parametric type uncertainty. In the case of Pole Assignment necessary and/or sufficient conditions are formulated for accomplishing it. For stabilization, pole assignment based methods are suggested for choosing an apropriate compensator from a class of proper compensators, in a manner which guarantees robust stability.
