Abstract
In the present work, a methodology for robust controller design of multivariable systems is presented. This approach allows the designer to specify, in a simple manner, the desired singular values sketch of the return difference operator. In this way, the frequency response of the desired controller is directly obtained. Furthermore, implementation problems are discussed. An example to illustrate the availibility of the proposed methodology is given.
