Abstract :
An algorithm is proposed to convert every multirate sampled-data system to a set of periodic, state-space equations. This conversion retains the original states and their time sequences and generates less augmented states than those by previously developed techniques [1] - [7]. Thus, multirate sampled-data systems can be analyzed and synthesized using state-space methods, and the serious growth of dimensionality is obviated.
