Automatic Hay Bale Stackwagon Controller

The use of self-propelled bale wagons to retrieve and stack hay bales in large acreage and custom operations has been popular for over a decade. An electronic controller for the bale wagon provides both flexibility and ease of operation to the user. A second generation microprocessor-based electronic controller is described which offers increased flexibility, added convenience features and improved reliability. A functional overview of automatic bale wagon operation is given, including control requirements as implemented in the new design.
