Abstract
Sherman has suggested that the angular positions of two unresolved objects can be estimated using the in-phase and quadrature data from a conventional monopulse radar ([1]-[2]). In this paper, a lower bound on the optimal error covariance for this problem is computed using the generalized Cramer-Rao inequality.
