Abstract
A robust control strategy has been studied for an aircraft during take-off. Effect of different windshear intensities have been analyzed for different models. As the complexity of the model increases and as more complete model is taken into account the survivability of the aircraft degrades. However, the robust control strategy yields results which are comparable to the best known results. The robust control is designed via a deterministic approach. The only information it utilizes is the upperbound value of the allowable control magnitude. The resulting system behavior is also described in a deterministic way, namely, the stability.
