Abstract :
MATRIXx® and RemoteSim¿ software packages fully integrate graphics workstations and a supercomputer for the simulation professional Simulation models are built and tested interactively as graphical block diagrams. Symbolic models are translated into source code, and the source code can be run on a supercomputer or other compute node. Simulations can be based on differential equation, or differential-difference equation, or implicit differential-difference equations. This paper describes the interaction from the perspective of a typical user and includes a detailed example of how the software is used to perform Monte Carlo analysis.
