Abstract
The problem of designing a robust optimal controller for linear time-invariant system using LQ regulator theory is considered. A sufficient condition is derived to show that a nominally optimal law designed with adequate degree of stability remains optimal for perturbed system with fixed perturbations in the state matrix.
