Abstract :
Reconstruction of not measured concentrations in chemical batch reactors with nonlinear reaction kinetic under non-isothermal conditions using solely temperature measurements is presented. The measurements are first filtered using spine-type modulating functions. The following one-point estimator reconstructs the composition from the filtered signals and their time derivative. The effect of filtering parameters and other variables affecting the observation are discussed.
