Abstract
The development and implementation of controlled suspension systems designed to provide increased levels of ride isolation and road holding has spurred a great deal of interest among controls researchers. This paper describes the efforts of a preliminary analysis of the effects that car frame flexibility can have on a design for ride isolation. The work also examines the stability of the discrete delayed implementation of the control design. Recommendations for further research are also offered.
