Abstract
This paper presents an adaptive rational approximation approach for quantifying the effect of possibly unstable uncertainties. It is shown in the paper that a tight frequency upper bound on a possibly unstable uncertainty is obtainable by adaptive rational approximation. The results are non-trivial extensions of the previous work on adaptive quantification of stable systems by rational approximation.
