            Abstract : 
We propose a new neurocontrol architecture for time delay processes. The controller is based on a variable dimension adaptive model which is identified online, in closed loop. A nonlinear maximization procedure guarantees the minimal order of the employed model. A variety of control laws may be utilized in this new architecture. Simulations demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed controller.
