Abstract :
This paper develops a methodology for a time invariant, single rate approach to optimal control and estimation of multirate systems. A predictor type estimator utilising all input and output samples is designed to estimate the state of the multirate system employed in the state variable feedback law when all sampling switches are synchronised.
