Abstract
This paper presents new research into adaptive and fault tolerant control using artificial neural systems (ANS) methods. Briefly, we will introduce the elements of an active suspension system, describe the control architectures developed, demonstrate the adaptive and fault tolerant behavior of these architectures, and finish with a discussion of possible methods of FDI.
