Abstract :
Many robust control design methods are based on an unconstrained optimization. The design consists of selecting a weighting function and assessing the achieved robustness. In this paper we develop a scheme that employs experimental data for the assesment of robust stability. This scheme can be applied irrespective of the utilized control design method.
