Abstract
In this paper a suboptimal minimal variance pole placement controller is proposed. This controller can be applied to any stable/unstable minimum-/nonminimum-phase plant. The proposed controller possesses higher tracking accuracy and smaller stable variance than conventional minimal variance and pole-zero placement controllers.
