Abstract
This paper presents a brief tutorial overview of some of recent advances in the field of robust control system design methodologies for uncertain nonlinear plants. This overview is limited to a few representative techniques related to the papers presented in this conference1. This paper discusses the stability robustness issues that are relevant to control of uncertain nonlinear systems and some typical methodologies based on stability theories, extensions of robust linear control system design methodologies and "robust" knowledge-based control systems.
