Abstract :
A method for recovering close-to-nominal pre-fault performance of a dynamical system is presented. This method, based on the pseudo-inverse of the control matrix and the eigenstructure method of design, is not iterative and therefore should prove quite useful for on-line control restructuring applications. The method presented here guarantees stability of the closed loop restructured system.
