Abstract :
Motivated by the recent works in parameterization of multivariable plants [1] [2], a new robust model reference control scheme using variable structure design (VSD) concept is proposed in this paper which contributes to improve the performance of the control system. The main contribution of this paper is the extension of [5] into multivariable case with unmodeled dynamics and output disturbances. Furthermore, the control strategy using the concept of "average control" rather than "equivalent control" is also analyzed.
