Abstract :
A full-authority 4D guidance algorithm for a conventional aircraft is developed using Nonlinear Inverse Dynamics (NID) theory. The control task is simplified by the use of a forced singular perturbation, overall system dynamics being separated into fast and slow reduced-order systems. An analytical solution to inverting the slow time-scale dynamics is found through the Inverse Kinematics Problem (IKP). The algorithm´s performance is evaluated in the terms of the tracking error.
