Abstract
A mathematical model of large flexible spacecraft under the influence of structually perturbations and random disturbance is developed. A continuum model, rather than a finite element model, is used. Dynamics of the system is governed by a coupled set of stochastic ordinary and partial differential equations and formulated as a stochastic evolution equation in a proper Hilbert space by using a semigroup approach. The problem of its feedback stabilization is then, addressed.
