  • Abstract
    Sealed Ni-Cd batteries have been widely used because of their excellent performance. And many fast charge system have been investigated and applied. The most popular fast-charge system is a voltage-controlled type. However the circuit is very complicated and costly. We have developed a new temperature controlled fast-charge system which are comprized of a new battery and a simple external circuit. The new batteries are designed to consume oxygen gas as early as possible and to raise its temperature as quickly as possible in the fully charged state.
