Abstract :
Applying Microprocessors to the power plant produces many good effects, such as smaller size and lighter weight eqipment, easy maintenance, economy improvements. For these reasons, NTT is going forward with the introduction of microprocessors to its various power eqipment units and systems. This paper discusses the background of today´s expanding use of microprocessors, basic application concept, examples of application to NTT power plant and future trends.
