Abstract
The degraded SINR and poor performance of adaptive arrays, when mutual coupling is taken into account, is well known. In this paper a method using tapped delay lines for reducing the effect of mutual coupling in adaptive arrays is developed. It is shown that the SINR will improve proportionally to the number of taps used for each element.
