Abstract
A Gallium Arsenide MMIC development is described. The MMIC being developed will function as the RF/IF portion of a GPS receiver. Several of the design constraints and technology decisions relating to the development of a single chip Gallium Arsenide MMIC are described in the paper. In addition to the necessary decisions relevant to the development of the chip, some preliminary data are presented from a working channel of a chip with 95 dB of RF to baseband signal gain.
