Abstract :
Hollandse Signaalapparaten B. V. of the Netherlands has been tasked by The Royal Netherlands Army to design and evaluate a tactical communication network which is independent of transmission media. Such a communication network must be flexible enough to support diverse classes of terminals, hosts, and applications. It must be modular enough to allow for expandability and growth of current, new, and evolving EUROCOM/NATO communication requirements.
