A Microcomputer Controlled Diesel Engine Generator

This paper shows that a microcomputer can control and diagnose a single standby diesel engine generator. Calculations show that high reliability is achieved when maintenance is conducted at short intervals and complete repair is performed. The hardware and software of a diesel engine generator equipped with a microcomputer controller, together with results of environment test, are introduced.
