Abstract :
In this paper, a novel design of refining precision of pseudo-range is presented and ameliorates the pseudo-range degradation in a scheme of reducing local code replicas´ adjustment for real time software GPS receiver. The code phase error corresponding to pseudo-range degradation is estimated and compensated by linear interpolation and curve fitting, according to the discriminator output in delay locked loop (DLL). The final pseudo-range precision is validated by simulating and is improved to 2.827 meters with a position error about 8 meters.
