Abstract
In this paper, we suggest an interconnection method between Bluetooth network and IP based Peer-to-peer network inorder to facilitate interoperability and increase scalability between the networks. We designed a PAN gateway which has a role of connection of Bluetooth devices to IP based network. To let the gateway be searched by other user, we applied the super peer based P2P network environment on the system and virtualized Bluetooth network and IP based network. An authorized peer can search the PAN gateway and connect it directly to control the permitted Bluetooth devices which are detected by the gateway. As a result, the scalability and stability of the interconnected network are increased through the virtualized network.
