Abstract :
This paper describes the VDMS to manage the vehicles and drivers. And VDMS analyze the collected vehicle information for the economical and the ecological driving patterns. There are some factors influenced the fuel consumption. The factors are economical speed driving, steady driving, sudden acceleration/deceleration, idling time, and the fuel-cut time. Through the multiple regression analysis, the relationship between the factors and the fuel consumption are found. These analysis results are utilized for the efficient vehicles and drivers management.
