Abstract :
Semantic mapping between global and source ontology is required for resolving semantic heterogeneity among sources in scalable data integration system. Previously developed techniques (element and structural level) cannot map semantically a source ontology to the global ontology. The paper proposes a semantic based mapping technique. It utilizes OntoWordNet ontology for discovering all valid semantic mappings and eliminate invalid results by finding the actual context of corresponding concepts and properties between the global and source ontologies.
