Abstract :
Virtual Instruction has triggered profound changes in the field of distance education. However, ldquoteachersrdquo usually ignore the emotional factors of students in VI environment, which will severely harm the quality of learning. Affective Intervention Learning Algorithm (AILA), a novel method for emotional interaction learning in virtual instruction is proposed in the paper, which tracks the affective states of students and implements encouragement strategies appropriately through their learning journey in virtual instruction environment. Finally, an affective intervention learning model based on expression recognition is established to verify its effectiveness. The simulation results demonstrate that AILA is a feasible and effective approach to solving the problem of emotional absence in virtual instruction.
