Abstract :
As the application of concept map and collaborative learning in the teaching & learning is increasing, this paper discusses the application of keystone concept map in scientific research and teaching. Firstly, it introduces the signification of concept map and collaborative learning in the teaching-learning and the development of the current concept mapping software. Then it compares the functions of various concept map software and describes the advantages of keystone concept map. Finally it discusses the application of keystone concept map from many points of view such as single-user mapping, multi-user mapping and learning-by-chapter as well as the thematic study. Moreover, it analyzes the features of this teaching mode.
