  • Abstract
    Emerging concerns about quality of e-learning products and services animated a project in many countries to establish and implement quality assurance. The paper introduces the international standard of quality management, assurance and metrics for information technology learning, education, and training which is put forward by technical committee ISO/IEC JTC1 SC36. With the implementation of tuition-free normal college studentspsila education in Huazhong Normal University, this paper describes how to use the quality assurance standard to establish a learning management platform for tuition-free normal college students in Huazhong Normal University. According to Reference Framework for Quality Descriptions (RFDQ) of the quality assurance standard, needs analysis and framework analysis of the platform are conducted by way of interview and investigation, and subsequently detailed functional design of the platform is implemented. Finally, the author explores the quality assurance of the platform.
