Abstract :
A rectangular reconfigurable antenna (RRA) is presented in this paper. The antenna system consists of 8 rectangular radiating components functioning independently. The power radiated equation as well as the equivalent circuit for the antenna is presented in this paper. Each rectangular radiating part has its own individual substrate so as to have each radiating component function independently. The results showing the S parameters and the radiation characteristics are presented and discussed in this paper.
