Abstract
This paper shows the design and measurements of a 10-element linear array for GSM-UMTS (1710 MHz-2170 MHz) base station antennas based on patch antennas. The most relevant features of this array are found in the radiating elements and the manifold feed network, where a broadband response is obtained with shaped elevation pattern beam by means of a complex amplitude feed distribution. The results show that the design objectives where achieved.
