Abstract :
Low cost mm-wave radar has become established in the automotive industry for collision avoidance and cruise control. Incorporating more sophisticated antenna and signal processing techniques can allow the same underlying low cost core to be used more widely. This paper describes a low-cost antenna structure that increases the resolution of the automotive radar for imaging applications such as autonomous navigation.
