Abstract
There are several methods to calculate the antenna aperture excitation from measured near- or far-field data. The usefulness of an iterative back projection technique has been demonstrated for both theoretical and real measured test cases. Other applications for antenna diagnostic tools, such as phased array calibration and position error correction, are also discussed.
